We collect information you provide directly when registering and using Dinero Claro, including: name, email address, financial data you enter (transactions, accounts, budgets, goals, investments), and configuration preferences. We also automatically collect usage data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and interaction times.
2. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
We process your personal data under the following legal bases of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): (a) Consent — you agree when creating your account; (b) Contractual performance — necessary to provide our services; (c) Legitimate interest — to improve security and prevent fraud; (d) Legal obligation — to comply with applicable tax and regulatory requirements.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide, maintain and improve our services; process transactions and send related notifications; generate personalized AI financial analyses; send budget alerts and bill reminders; protect against fraudulent activity; comply with legal obligations; and communicate service updates.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on servers with encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We implement row-level security (RLS) policies, Content Security Policy (CSP), HSTS, and periodic security audits. Access to production data is restricted to minimum authorized personnel.
5. Biometric Data
If you enable biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint), biometric data is processed and stored exclusively on-device via the operating system APIs. Dinero Claro does not collect, store, or transmit biometric data to any server.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights: (a) Access — request a copy of your personal data; (b) Rectification — correct inaccurate data; (c) Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your data; (d) Portability — receive your data in a structured format; (e) Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest; (f) Restriction — restrict processing in specific circumstances; (g) Withdraw consent — at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. 8. Your Rights Under CCPA (California)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you additional rights: (a) Right to know — what personal data we collect, use and share; (b) Right to delete — request deletion of your personal data; (c) Right to opt-out of sale — We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties. We never have and never will; (d) Right to non-discrimination — you will not receive different treatment for exercising your CCPA rights. 9. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use essential cookies for app functionality (authentication, preferences). We also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and performance cookies (Microsoft Clarity) with your consent. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through our consent banner. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are necessary for basic functionality.
10. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy and data-processing terms: Stripe (payment processing — PCI DSS compliant), Google Analytics (usage analytics), Microsoft Clarity (experience analytics), and artificial intelligence for financial analysis. Review each provider’s own privacy policy for their compliance commitments.
11. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including the United States and the European Union. We ensure all international transfers comply with appropriate safeguards under GDPR, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission and applicable privacy certifications.
12. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a security breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours of detection, as required by GDPR. The notification will include: nature of the breach, data affected, measures taken, and recommendations to protect yourself. We will also notify the relevant data protection authorities as required by law.
13. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as you maintain an active account. Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Billing data is retained for 7 years per tax obligations. Security logs are retained for 90 days.
14. Children's Privacy
Dinero Claro is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.
15. Changes & Contact
